It’s that that ladies and gentlemen for the list of bad things that have happened this week. You might ask yourself “How long could this possibly be?”. Well why don’t you pull up a chair, make yourself a hot beverage and listen to the bitching I am about to lay down.
1. Mom had to return to the hospital. You think it is routine to occasionally have to show up there when you are going through Chemo. She was there for about 4 days. Apparently her leg was starting to swell up, and it turned out that she had blood clots in her leg. She will need to take medication for it for the next 9 months. Even with insurance there is a bit of money owed for meds and the hospital stay.
2. Our Television died. It had been acting weird lately and finally it just stopped turning on. My parents decided that another TV is necessary (personally I don’t think we need one) so they put in more money for another television. Another big screen with HD*. More money my family has spent this week.
3. My car battery died. Once again something that has been threatening to happen for some time. The -3 degree weather finally put a nail in that coffin. More money to be spent on replacing it. Plus an entire day wasted at the Wal-Mart waiting for the garage to put in the battery. Wal-Mart is inefficient and the employees are soulless automatons in a machine that has cogs running in opposite directions.
4. My cat has an abscess. It would be a very simple thing (albiet more money) except that during treatment the cat is carcinogenic, so she has to stay at the vet for 4 days (equals even MORE money!)
This has all added up into an expensive headache for my family. We have had enough troubles thank you very much and we would thank to universe to stop taking a dump in our pool. My birthday is in two week and I don’t need anymore reason to dread this time of year than I already have.
On the plus side school is now over. My finals are done. However it appears that the whole school thing was wasted. TMCC no longer offers a certificate program for grant writing. All of the other majors they have available that are worth anything (job wise) require a level of Math so beyond me that I would be in school until I was a little old man. So I will not be continuing on with my school. For the time being I will be concentrating on selling myself in both DJ and gaming projects hopefully making a large enough name for myself that I can get a constant stream of independent contracts. So very soon there will be an info page on this very site letting you know what gigs I am doing and when. Look for it soon! I will be coming to a record store and giving out Hot Dickings!
I’ll just be passing them out.
Hot!….
(screams)
DICKINGS!
* HD is the largest waste of technology I can think of. The only thing that looks good in HD is documentaries about very very pretty countries. Ones with lots of snowy mountains and lush greenery. Otherwise you just see blemishes on actors you may have once thought were attractive.

Well this past weekend did not go exactly as I thought it would, for multiple reasons. First off, on the 3 LARP games this weekend there was a change of power structure in all 3 games. In Vampire the prince ran off (go Le Teur) leaving the seat vacant, in which a Nosferatu Ordo Dracul named Ernie took the position. In Mage the Hierarch stepped down and returned back to England, leaving Mai, a spirit mage played by Dan took the position by democratic process. In Changeling, the Autumn court changed representatives in the absence of the Autumn King through a travesty of democracy. It in unprecedented for all 3 venues to have a shift in power in the same weekend so yay for a first.
My lunch date with Brandon was canceled due to Brandon not feeling well. I choose to take this excuse at face value since we are in the “go out and talk and get to know you” phase of things. I don’t think someone would try to make excuses this early on if it was a simple matter of not wanting to spend any time with me. One would just say at this point “You know I don’t see this going anywhere so let’s just save the time and money.” At least that is how I think, which doesn’t mean it’s necessarily true. He could be trying to dodge me but I don’t get that particular vibe.
Currently DJing at the 5 star and it is dead…maybe 4 people total in the bar. I hope it will pick up, I could use the cash and Jay could use the business. Despite this lack of business I feel my week long funk lifting and starting to feel a bit of normal again. There is a couple of things that are currently not fixable due to circumstance. Mainly it is just one thing.
I really miss Arthur.
No matter what was going on in either of our lives we managed to put it in the back of our minds with a combination of travel, irresponsible behavior, and silly hats. We were a team devoted to the spread of depravity and witty banter. We functioned on a thought pattern that those lesser folk we hung out with could not even begin to comprehend. We try to make due with what we have ( conversations over phone and internet) but it is not quite the same. It is like the other half of my brain is on the other side of the country and I can’t access the thoughts I need to function.
So Arthur I say to you…
You go get ‘em, Sheriff! Go get your ghost! Them ghosts is gonna crawl right up in your h-e-e-e-ead! You found yourself into something you ain’t never getting out of! We’ll get ya! We’ll… get ya! We’ll get ya! You’re dead, Sheriff! You’re dead! I’ll see you in fucking hell! HAHAHAHA!
I miss you.

Today just plain sucked. Especially just now. At the 5 star after my shift and now a large group of drunken loud obnoxious people just came in yelling, screaming and generally making a nuisance of themselves. Rewinding to more suck now. Currently the Monday DJ shifts are dead. Justin who did weekend dayshift bar-tending has taken Jay’s shift and so far his type of crowd has not found their way to come in yet. So tips are currently very very low. On top of it the person who was in the bar my entire shift was an old cantankerous fuck names Larry who has nothing better to do than bitch about my music and complain that he can’t play his shitty old thyme music on the Jukebox. I have determined that fate has kept the dinosaur alive just to spite me. He is the kind of person that when you hear the rumor of the new medical bill forcing euthanasia you say “please?” .
I am in a general funk anyway. Three weeks left of class and I really want it to be over now. I haven’t gotten any in a few weeks now. Ok I did about a week ago with my ex Patrick but it wasn’t anything spectacular enough to satiate me for any amount of time. Put all that with the fact that I just don’t feel like interacting with anyone at the moment in any kind of conversation or social group and you got a pretty shitty mood.
It makes me wish I had a boyfriend I didn’t really like so I could take all my frustration out on breaking his pathetic little heart. Only reason to miss Mark. He made a great emotional punching bag. Oh well he is being punched by someone else now so I can take satisfaction in the fact that he has learned nothing from the 2 years we were together. Pathetic…almost too pathetic to hate….almost.
Sometimes I feel like I need a real job to keep me occupied instead of this DJ for tips gig. It’s not the lack of money because honestly I don’t require that much at the moment. It’s more I have time on my hands and my idle hands are most defiantly influenced by a devil or two.
It looks like the drunk bitched are dying down, hopefully they will leave so I can get some peace and quiet before I head off to my bed and pass out.
Euthanize today!
Euthanize often!
Euthanize for out future!
SCIENCE!
